RETURNS
My glass creations are lovingly made and carefully checked individually before they are sent out. After all those hours of work, I like to ensure that packaging is strong and as protective as possible so that your purchase will arrive with you in perfect condition. However if after all this your purchase still arrives damaged, I do operate a returns policy. Please contact me by email before you return your item and will be happy to arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate. However please note that any replacement can never be an exact copy due to the nature of my work, but will be as close as I am able to make it. If you are not happy with your purchase please let me know by email within 7 days of receipt and we can arrange an exchange or refund.
GENERAL
Sulis Glass is run by myself as a small concern (cottage industry in old fashioned terms). The glass items that I sell here are all hand made by myself, but may include fixings or embellishments that I have bought for this purpose. Examples of these would include silvers bails, chains or seed beads that may be used alongside my pendants or focals to show them at their best. I always do my best to describe such items fully, but if you have any questions at all please do email me and I will give further information. Items that I sell are all handcrafted and take some time to make. I also have another full time day job and so make items in small quantities as and when I am able. Therefore I am unable to supply in large quantities and at times may not be able to list items for sale. I sometimes repeat an idea or make another set which may be similar to something I have previously sold, however as items are handmade there will never be an exact copy of a previous item available. Items shown in my gallery may no longer be available for sale, please refer to my shop page for current items for sale or email me for requests.
IMAGES
Images of my creations are intended to show them as fully as possible and as true to life as I am able. Glass, especially Dichroic glass, is notoriously difficult to depict to its full effect as it reflects and refracts light showing different hues in different lights and from different angles – this is what gives it it’s beauty. Please bear this in mind when making a purchase and refer to my refund policy for your peace of mind. Any image shown in my shop is of the actual item listed and is not a stock photo.
SRA
On 22 July 2008 I became a member of SRA, - Self Representing Artists. My membership number is C94. In order to join this scheme, I have undertaken not to sell any mass produced items under this banner and in fact to only sell items made by myself or a close family member whilst displaying the SRA logo. I do this wholeheartedly, as I firmly believe in the right of the consumer or art lover to be able to easily determine the origin of glass art presented for sale. I also believe in supporting the artist and promoting the art of glass fusing, lampworking and other forms of glass art. For your own reassurance, I would always recommend searching out glass art that has been made by an SRA artist.
